Trana gives adult students a private, self-guided way to check in, calm their body, journal, talk things through, and find safety resources when a moment gets heavy.
• Some students need a small support step outside appointment hours.
• Some students are not ready to describe everything to another person yet.
• Some students benefit from guided breathing, grounding, journaling, or sleep tools before they can think clearly.
• A companion app should point back to campus, crisis, and emergency support when self-guided support is not enough.
Short guided tools are available when a student wants one immediate step: breathe, ground, journal, walk, or settle before sleep.
Trana does not label students or replace counselling. It gives practical wellbeing support in plain language.
Red Mode, crisis resources, safety planning, and trusted contacts remain free and visible so urgent moments can move outside the app.
Any university pilot should use consented, aggregate learning only. Personal conversations and journal entries should never become monitoring data.
